So why are learning and development so important within organisations? I have a strong belief that good L&D can make a company, and bad L&D can break one. Through combining the elements of traditional training techniques and blending them with modern approaches in a vast digital environment can create robust results for your organisation.
How? Humans have always learned through imitation, from watching and doing, which is why I use many different techniques through cutting edge research from coaching, flipped classroom training, to engaging platforms and gamification. It is not all work for Hannah, her other interests and experience add to the many reasons why she is so good at her role. Here are few fun facts about Hannah:
- She studied 5 university qualifications in just over 9 years from undergraduate to doctorate whilst advancing her career, giving her true insight into the learner experience.
- She lectures at MBA level, so continues to develop learning products that can be feasibly taught
- She is forever learning herself! Never content with what is already knows, Hannah continues to research academically to find innovations from a plethora of industries and technologies that she could cross fertilise into L&D.
- She isn’t all work, work, work… when not working, learning and researching Hannah can be found outdoors hiking or paddleboarding, though she’s been known to use that thinking time to develop a few learning designs!
